| Situated on Flaxmans Valley
Rd high on top of the Barossa ranges at the very start of the
Eden valley. In amongst many famous vineyards is Colin & Fiona
Sheppards 7 acre property comprising 45+ year old Riesling , 45+
year old Semillon & 55+year old Shiraz.
The Riesling 2009 - 150 dozen made (Stelvin enclosure)
was made by Colin Sheppard at Murray Street Winery in Greenock. The grapes are hand picked and whole bunch pressed.
Tasting notes: - Pale straw colour with the undeniably Eden Valley nose of lime and lemon blossom with just a hint of clove. The palate is Lemon & Lime zest with slatey minerality and a crisp long finish driven by zingy acidity. Drink now or over the next 8 years. Drink Now to 2014

| The Dessert Semillon 2009- SOLD OUT
was made by Colin Sheppard at Murray St vineyards in Greenock.
The vines are hand pruned & dry grown. The cordons were severed
3 weeks prior to hand picking and the fruit was chilled
prior to the whole bunches being pressed.
Tasting Notes -
Quite light in colour, it gives no hint of the fuji apple nose or the boundless apple and citrus palate that finishes with just a hint of pear custard. The sugar is nicely balanced with the crisp acidity.
Drink over the next 3 to 5 years.

NV Sparkling Shiraz - 70 dozen made - (Under Crown Seal)
was made by Colin Sheppard and Nathan Schultz with fruit supplied by James Linke. Made in the traditional method - 13 months on lees.
Tasting Notes - Made in the Traditional Methode. Brilliant dark berry colour with very fine bubbles. Blackberries, plums, chocolate with a hint of mint on the nose. Some liquorice and nuttiness from the back of the palate. If you have the patience, would be great to lay some down. Goes amazing with Turkey and have had some high recommendations for Christmas Day with your roast turkey.

The Stranger 2007 - 170 dozen made - (Stelvin enclosure)
was made by Colin Sheppard at Murray St vineyards in Greenock. The
Shiraz was purchased from a vineyard on Gomersal Rd in the Barossa while the Cabernet came from
Moculta. The blend is 55% Shiraz & 45% Cabernet.
The fruit was open fermented and basket pressed. The Shiraz is matured in American Oak, while the Cabernet is matured in French, both for 15 months. The wine is unfiltered and unfined and benefits from decanting.
Tasting Notes - The nose is milk chocolate and red berry fruits with the milk chocolate carrying through onto the palate along with Anise and plenty of berry fruit. Great balance and length with a hint of spice.

The Shiraz 2007 - 70 dozen made - (Stelvin enclosure)
was made by Colin Sheppard at Murray St vineyards in Greenock. The Shiraz is Estate grown and is the first wine made from our own 55+ year old vines which yeilded 1 tonne to t he acre. The Shiraz is matured in seasoned & new French oak for 24 months. The wine is unfiltered and unfined and benefits from decanting.
Tasting Notes - Impossibly dark with a red/purple rim. The nose of white pepper and layers of fruit is only a hint of the intense fruit and spice on the palate. Think nutmeg, pepper, mace, blueberries, blackberries and so much more. Definitely built for the long haul. This wine will improve over the next 12 years if not longer.
