Some vineyard stories start with a dream. The Flaxman story started back in 2004 when Col came to the Barossa for what was meant to be a quick working holiday. Somewhere between working vintage and heading home, he decided to buy a vineyard… without telling his wife.  True story and he survived to tell the tale...........

Fast-forward to today and that spontaneous decision has turned into a beautiful cellar door and winery being built with all bar one of the wines being made on-site.

On this vineyard walk, Colin will take you through the vines and share stories about winemaking, life on the land, and how he survived the ultimate “vine change.” You’ll taste the estate wines while you stroll around the vineyard and learn a few behind-the-scenes secrets.
