- Double Up Shiraz 2020 - NEW RELEASE

This wine could be called a few things, as it was first made when  Colin was getting the wines ready to take to bottling.  He was moving the wine from barrel to tank and had just emptied one barrel and his phone rang and while he was answering the call, he moved the hose to the 2nd barrel and continued his conversation.  When he had finished his call, he returned to the job at hand and noticed that the 2nd barrel was distinctly different to the first barrel.  Colin said a few choice words as he understood what he had done.  While answering the call, he had mistakenly put the hose into a barrel of our Estate Shiraz in error and that is how the 50/50 blend cam about.

The blend was a huge hit and enjoyed by many.  We now make this mistake each year and we hope you enjoy it too.

50% Barossa Valley Shiraz and 50% Eden Valley Shiraz - an absolute delight that is drinking beautifully now, but will certainly reward you if you have the patience too.
